TAZOData Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that TAZO has
collected through its WhatsApp Business integration (Meta API) or any other
TAZO service.
What data TAZO collects via Meta / WhatsApp
- Phone number — used for identity verification via WhatsApp OTP / Magic Link
- WhatsApp message content — only authentication messages; not stored beyond
session expiry (15 minutes)
- Device locale & timestamp — logged for fraud-prevention; auto-purged
after 90 days
How to request data deletion
You have two options:
Option 1 — WhatsApp (fastest)
Send the message "Delete my data" to TAZO Support on WhatsApp:

Include your registered phone number
if messaging from a different number.
Option 2 — Email
Send an email to privacy@tazo-app.com
with the subject Data Deletion Request and include:
- Your registered phone number (with country code)
- The service(s) you used: Tazo-Go / Tazo-Sync / Tazo-Web
- Any account email address associated with your account
What happens after your request
- Confirmation — We will confirm receipt within 48 hours.
- Verification — We verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletion.
- Deletion — All personal data is permanently deleted within
30 days from confirmation.
- Confirmation — You will receive a final confirmation once
deletion is complete.
What is deleted
- Account profile (phone number, name, account type)
- Authentication sessions and magic-link tokens
- KYC/KYB verification records (Sumsub data deletion is also requested)
- Location history and trip records
- WhatsApp message logs
Exceptions
Certain data may be retained for up to 7 years where required
by Israeli law (e.g. financial transaction records under the Anti-Money-Laundering
Law, 5760-2000). You will be informed of any such retention.
